QUIZ BLISS | Quiz Facts

We have seen 45 presidents serve terms over American history and each president has left their mark! Starting back in 1789 when George Washington first took office, everyone had to have known that life would never be the same! Having a president in charge of the country changed history and it still impacts us as a society today! The best part of it all is that we are a democracy, meaning that we get to vote the president we see as being the best fit into office! Presidents can either serve one term or two terms but never more than that! Wouldn't it be nice if the same president could continue serving beyond two terms? Maybe in the future, that law will change! John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson, Martin Van Buren, William Henry Harrison, and John Tyler are some of the earlier presidents who served terms for our wonderful and free country! James K. Polk, Zachary Taylor, Franklin Pierce, James Buchanan, Ulysses S. Grant, and Rutherford B. Hayes are some of the other presidents we have on our lineup! Abraham Lincoln was one of the most memorable presidents of all time because of the hand he had in the Civil War. Not to mention, the tall top hat he would always wear while he was alive! Today, Donald Trump is the president and prior to him, we had Barack Obama. Prior to Obama, we had George W. Bush! These three recent presidents are the first presidents of the new millennium! That is kind of a big deal!
